Although we are sorry to see you leave, below are the steps on how to cancel your WeTransfer subscription:
- Log in to your paid account on the WeTransfer website
- Click on your Workspace name > Account settings > Plan and payment
- Tap Manage plan > go to the Cancel plan section at the bottom of the page
- Tick the disclaimer box and tap Cancel subscription
- A pop-up window will appear. Scroll all the way down, and tap the red cancel plan button to unsubscribe

- A PDF copy or screenshot of a WeTransfer receipt or invoice

- For credit and debit card payments:

- Date of last WeTransfer charge
- For iDEAL and SEPA payments:
- last 4 digits of the IBAN
- date of last transaction

How to confirm your subscription has been canceled
Once you confirm the cancellation of your subscription, you can verify it in your account settings.
To check this:
Go to Account settings
Open Plan and payment
Here, your current plan will be marked as Cancelled and will end on [date].
This date corresponds to your next renewal date. This means your subscription will remain active until that date, but it will not renew, and you will not be charged again.
When you see this status, it confirms that your subscription has been successfully canceled and will expire on the date shown, rather than renewing.
Important to note:
- Your subscription will cancel at the end of the billing period, depending on whether you have a monthly or annual subscription. When the subscription is canceled, we will keep all your active transfers online for up to 28 days. After this grace period, unless you upgrade again to a paid plan, all the remaining active transfers will be permanently deleted without the possibility of recovery.
