If you’re dissatisfied with WeTransfer, let us first apologize for not meeting your expectations.
It is important to note that in order to be eligible for a refund, you must meet the criteria as outlined in our Refund Policy. If your request is submitted outside the applicable refund window, we will not be able to proceed with a refund.
To request a refund, follow the steps below depending on how you signed up for one of our paid plans.
🌐 If you subscribed via the WeTransfer website:
- Log into your WeTransfer paid account
- Visit the Self-service Refund Page
- Follow the instructions and submit your refund request. The last payment will be automatically refunded, and your account will be downgraded to the Free plan.
⚠️ Please allow 5 to 10 working days for the funds to be reimbursed. Additionally, please note that the self-service tool does not support SEPA or iDEAL payments or the Teams plan. In such cases, you must submit a ticket via our Contact Form to request a refund.

🍎 If you subscribed through the App Store (iOS)
- Sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase your subscription
- Tap I’d like to > Request a refund
- Select the reason for the refund request > Next
- Select the purchased item > Submit
ℹ Unfortunately, we don’t manage your Apple subscriptions and payments, so we cannot issue refunds in these cases. For further information on Apple refunds, refer to Apple Support at the bottom of this page.
🤖 If you subscribed through the Google Play Store (Android)
- Open the WeTransfer app and ensure you're logged in with your paid account
- On the bottom right corner, tap on your avatar/profile photo
- Tap on Report an issue > choose Account as the Issue type, and add a brief note on your refund request > Continue
- You'll be directed to your mail app and see a formatted email with Diagnostics-Report.html attached. All you have to do is send it without removing the attachment.
Please ensure that you contact us using the same email address linked to your WeTransfer paid account.
