If you’re dissatisfied with WeTransfer, let us first apologize for not meeting your expectations.
It is important to note that in order to be eligible for a refund you must meet the criteria as outlined in our Terms of Service. If you get in touch more than 14 days after you made your subscription payment, unfortunately, we will not be able to proceed with a refund.
To request a refund, follow the steps below depending on how you signed up for one of our paid plans.
🌐 If you subscribed via the WeTransfer website:

Submit a refund request through the Contact Support button. If you've already contacted us, proceed to the next step.

Make sure to send us the following details to help us verify your account. We’ll need this information to process your request:

- The last 4 digits of your credit card
- The full name on card
- The expiration date of the card
- The WeTransfer receipt related to the charge
- If the payment went through PayPal, download and attach the full transaction PayPal invoice

The IP address or city from which you last logged into your WeTransfer account

🍎 If you subscribed through the App Store (iOS)
- Sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase your subscription
- Tap I’d like to > Request a refund
- Select the reason for the refund request > Next
- Select the purchased item > Submit
ℹ Unfortunately, we don’t manage your Apple subscriptions and payments, so we cannot issue refunds in these cases. For further information on Apple refunds, refer to Apple Support at the bottom of this page.
🤖 If you subscribed through the Google Play Store (Android)
We'll need you to follow the steps below to verify your account ownership and process your request:
- Open the WeTransfer app on your Android device and tap on your profile photo in the bottom right corner
- Select Report an issue
- Provide a brief description of the issue, then tap the send icon.
This will submit your request for our Support team to evaluate your case.
