FAQs
Why can't I preview my transfer?
If you don't see a preview of your files, it could be because:
-
Your transfer contains more than 500 files.
When a transfer has more than 500 files, you’ll still see an Open Preview button and can navigate the file structure in the preview UI. However, the files will appear as unsupported, so you’ll only see file names and sizes, no previews.
- The transfer contains incompatible file formats, or files have an incorrect extension
- The files are too large (exceeding the preview size limits above)
Make sure your transfer fits within these limits to enable previews for your recipient.
How can I make my transfers preview-only or download-only?
As a sender you have the choice to set how the transfer will be viewed by the receivers. You can find out more about how to set the view options at this help centre article.
Why do the preview images have a watermark on them?
Previews may appear with a watermark if the sender has enabled that option, you can find out more information about watermarks with this help centre article.
💡 Tip: You can also allow recipients to leave comments on individual files in a preview. Find out how to use comments on your transfer previews →
