Having trouble sending files through the WeTransfer Android app? Don’t worry – let’s go over some common solutions to help you get your transfer working smoothly:
- Check for app updates. Open the Google Play Store and download any available updates, making sure you're always on the latest version of the WeTransfer app.
- Ensure a stable internet connection. A strong and steady connection is crucial for successful transfers. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data (4G/5G) to see if one works better.
- Check your device's storage space. Limited storage on your device can affect the app’s performance: go to your device's settings and free up some space if necessary to ensure smoother uploads.
- Check your device's battery level. A low battery can cause your device to save resources and limit background processes, such as uploads. Ensure your battery is sufficiently charged or plug in your phone while uploading.
- Restart your device and try again. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.
- Check the device requirements. The WeTransfer app is compatible with Android devices running OS 6 (Marshmallow) or later. If you’re using an older device, ensure it meets these minimum requirements to avoid performance issues.
