Your personal WeTransfer page is many things, but first and foremost, your page is your own version of WeTransfer. Your page is a personal subdomain you can brand to your liking. A page for other people to send you transfers up to 200 GB with WeTransfer Pro or transfers with no file size limit with WeTransfer Premium. A place that you can control. Let's take a little tour, shall we?
The URL for your own WeTransfer page
When signing up for a WeTransfer subscription, you will need to claim your very own subdomain. This gives you a personal WeTransfer page where you can send your clients, friends, or family to, for uploading files to you, or downloading the files you sent to them.
Receiving transfers through your WeTransfer page
They will be able to upload files to you directly through your personal WeTransfer page. When you send your friends or clients to your page URL, transfers they upload to you will be available for four weeks instead of the seven days the free service offers. Lots of time to download them!
Anyone who visits your WeTransfer page can see your Brand name. With this, there won't be any confusion and your senders will be sure that they landed on the right page. Your WeTransfer page is a public URL, designed to be shared and distributed to as many people as you'd like. So feel free to share your URL with anyone you'd like, and receive large transfers from them directly! (Please know others do not have access to your files or personal details, and your URL is not indexable by search engines, meaning your page can not be searched for.)
Downloading transfers from your WeTransfer page
When you send a transfer to somebody, they will be sent to your personal WeTransfer page to download the files after they click the download link. Just make sure you are logged into your account before you send the transfer.
This gives you the opportunity to use your personal WeTransfer page as a billboard for your company or yourself, by setting up a personal background, or even multiple!
If somebody visits our website for the first time, they will be asked to accept our cookies and Terms of Service first (using our services without accepting our Terms of Service is not possible). If you have set up your own background wallpapers, those who visit your page will not see any ads.
Branding your WeTransfer page
To give your page that personal touch, there's the option to upload up to five backgrounds of choice. If you'd like to know how, check out how to set up backgrounds. While we're on the subject, there's also the option of adding an email background and an avatar to further spruce things up a bit. you can find your branding options by clicking the 'Branding' tab in the menu at the top, when you have logged into your account.
