Your personal WeTransfer page is your own version of WeTransfer: a personal subdomain you can brand to your liking. A page for other people to send you transfers. Let's take a little tour!
The first thing you need to do to set up your own WeTransfer page is claiming your very own subdomain. Once you do that, you'll get your personal WeTransfer page where your clients, friends, or family to can upload files to your WeTransfer account.
Receiving transfers through your WeTransfer page
Anyone with a verified WeTransfer account will be able to upload files to you directly through your personal WeTransfer page. When you send your friends or clients to your branded page, the transfers they upload to you will be available for four weeks.
Anyone who visits your WeTransfer page can see your Brand name. With this, there will be no confusion, and your senders will be certain that they have landed on the right page.
Your WeTransfer page is designed to be shared and distributed to as many people as you'd like. Feel free to share your URL with anyone you'd like, and receive large transfers from them directly. (Please know others do not have access to your files or personal details, and your URL is not indexable by search engines, meaning your page can not be searched for.)
Downloading transfers from your WeTransfer page
Please note that when a user uploads a transfer to a branded page belonging to a paying workspace, the confirmation email sent to the sender once the upload is complete will not include a download link.
The sender can access and download the transfer’s contents — either all files or individual ones — directly from the transfer details panel in their WeTransfer account. However, they don't have access to a public, shareable download link.
This ensures that only the workspace owner retains full access and control over download links associated with their branded environment.
If your goal is to allow multiple colleagues to upload files to the branded company page while maintaining centralized control and visibility over all transfers (including the ability to delete them), the ideal solution would be to upgrade to a Teams plan.
Branding your WeTransfer page
To give your page that personal touch, you can upload up to five backgrounds of your choice. If you'd like to know how, check out how to set up backgrounds. While we're on the subject, there's also the option of adding an email background and an avatar to further enhance the appearance. You can find your branding options by clicking the 'Branding' tab in the menu at the top when you have logged into your account.
