What is a mobile app store subscription?
To give you more options, in addition to offering subscriptions directly through our website, you can now purchase a WeTransfer subscription from either the App Store on an iOS device or the Play Store on Android devices.
Subscriptions purchased from the App Store or the Play Store are a little different to subscriptions purchased directly from our website. The main difference is that all payments and subscription changes are handled by either the App Store or the Play Store.
To use an analogy; This relationship works the same way it would if you wanted to change a purchase from a clothing store. While the clothing may have been made by a fashion label, the store itself takes full control & responsibility for the refunding of any products bought from the store.
Heads-up! Your account options on our website will appear slightly different if you are logged in using an account that has a mobile app store subscription. The options for changing Billing Information and viewing Receipts have been removed, whilst Payments will now link you to the App Store or the Play Store.
How can I manage an App Store subscription (iOS)?
All changes to your subscription must be done in the app.
You can subscribe, upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing period all from within the app. For more information about how to do this, here are further instructions.

How can I manage a Play Store subscription (Android)?
Currently, we do not support making changes to subscriptions from within the app on Android. It is still possible to cancel your subscription, just tap on Manage Subscription, this will redirect you to the Play Store where you can request the changes.

How can I add members to my shared workspace?
For subscriptions purchased via the App Store or Play Store, inviting members to your shared workspace is not a supported feature. (sorry about that!) This means that even if you log in to the website, you will not be able to add members to your shared workspace because your subscription is managed by the App Store or Play Store.
How can I purchase a subscription directly from WeTransfer?
So maybe you want to add some members to your shared workspace or perhaps you just want to be able to have more control over your subscription from within your WeTransfer account?
In that case, you would need to purchase a subscription directly from WeTransfer.
To do so, you first need to cancel your mobile app store subscription. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Don't worry you can still log in to the app with your new details! But please bear in mind that managing your shared workspace is only supported on the website.
