At the moment, it’s not possible to cancel your free WeTransfer subscription in your account settings.
Not because we want to keep you hostage or anything (that’s a little creepy, we’ve seen other people do this, very weird) but rather, because of a combination of reasons.
- Because you verify ownership of your free account at sign up, you won’t need to enter any verification codes, and your recipients can be 100% certain that your transfer is definitely coming from you.
- This, alongside the fact that your account is going to be free forever and ever and ever, means that you’re always going to benefit from being signed into an active account, and transferring from there, instead of our free service.
