How to log in
When you ask your browser to fire up the weird and wonderful world of WeTransfer.com, you should see a ‘Log In’ button toward the top right-hand corner of your screen.
- If you registered with email and password, enter your email address and click on Continue with email. Then, enter your password on the following screen.
- You can also log in with social applications. These include Apple, Google, and Slack. You can learn more about this topic here.
- If you created an account without a password, you can log in by entering the verification code you'll be sent via email. You can learn more about this here.
TLDR; these are the important things to note:
- If you log in via Apple, Google, or Slack and this email address doesn’t match the email address that is currently registered to your WeTransfer account, then you’ll be creating a new account with us. So, if the email address for your chosen social application doesn’t match the email address for your WeTransfer account then you’ll need to enter your details manually and log in the old fashioned way.
- You will not have a set password as you have signed up via a third party social platform. If you would like to change your password please reach out to our Support team here.
- You will not have a set password if you created an account upon sending a transfer after November, 2024. More information on this topic is available here.
