At WeTransfer, we take your privacy and well-being very seriously. If someone shares your personal photos or videos through our service, we will do whatever we can to take the transfer down and prevent it from happening again. We will walk you through this step by step, helping you as best as we can to take your power back.
First things first: report the transfer so we can take it down. Please do so by using the Report this transfer button as seen in the image below.
We promise to act as quickly as possible, at least within 24 hours of reporting. If you are (or were) underage when these photos were taken, or come across any child sexual abuse material on our service - don't hesitate to reach out to us as well. You can do so here.
Secondly, if you want to take further action, we advise you to reach out to your local authorities if you can do so safely. Rest assured that WeTransfer supports cooperation with law enforcement in compliance with applicable Dutch law under a mutual legal assistance procedure, no matter where you are in the world.
Thirdly, depending on your country, there might be different organizations to help you out or offer (emotional) support.
