Need a short break from your subscription? You can temporarily pause your plan directly from your account settings.
Pausing your subscription gives you two extra weeks before your next payment, without affecting your ability to use WeTransfer.
How to pause your subscription
To pause your subscription:
Go to Account Settings
Open Plan and payment
Click Manage plan
In the section “Would you like to take a break?”, select Pause subscription
Once confirmed, your subscription will be paused for two weeks.
What happens when you pause your subscription?
When you pause your subscription:
You won’t be charged during the two-week pause, even if your renewal date falls within this period
You will still have full access to your files and downloads
There will be no limits on transfers
Your subscription remains active
In other words, pausing your subscription does not affect your ability to use WeTransfer.
Instead, the pause simply delays your next billing date by two weeks.
When the pause ends
After the two-week pause period:
Your subscription will automatically resume
Your next payment date will be moved two weeks later than originally scheduled

Important to know
When your plan is marked as Paused, your subscription is still active. The pause does not cancel your plan — it only gives you two additional weeks before your next payment.
