Want to use Paper Pro on more than one device? Not a problem! There are two important steps to getting this set up.
First, make sure you follow the steps in this article to enable Paper Pro on all devices.
*Please keep in mind that all devices need to be linked to the same Apple ID that was used to purchase Paper Pro.
Once Paper Pro is enabled on all devices, the next step is to set up Journal Sync.
- Open Paper
- Tap on the Settings icon top right
- Tap on "Journal Sync"
- Toggle on "Journal Sync"
- Tap on "Sync All Journals"
Please note that Journal Sync is a background function and the initial syncing process may take some time, but once it's completed you'll be able to sync your Journals between your different devices.
Family Share
Want to share your Paper Pro subscription with your iCloud family? You absolutely can! Here's how:
On the "parent" device:
Step 1:
- Open iPad or iPhone's Settings app (not Paper) and then open the "Family" settings
- Tap on "Purchase Sharing"
- Please make sure that "Share Purchases" is toggled on
Step 2:
- Go back to the main Settings menu
- Tap on your name at the top
- Tap on "Subscriptions"
- Find and tap on "Paper by WeTransfer"
- Please make sure that "Share with Family" is toggled on
On the "child / family" device:
Step 3:
- In Paper, tap on the Settings icon top right
- Tap on "Support"
- On the next screen, tap "Restore Purchases"
- You may need to restart the iPad/iPhone if the "Restore Purchases" but doesn't immediately enable Paper Pro
*NB: With Family Sharing you can share the Paper Pro subscription, but your Journals will not be synced. Since Journal Sync uses iCloud for storage and syncing, that is synced and stored on an individual basis, per Apple ID.
