Payment confirmation
After every successful transaction, you’ll receive an email confirmation that includes the buyer’s purchase details. Each buyer will receive an email after every successful purchase.
Managing your sales
In your account's ‘Payments’ section, you can view a list of all your transactions, including successful payments, pending transactions, and refunds. Check the Stripe dashboard regularly. Use filters to search for specific transactions or time periods.Navigate to the "Analytics" section for detailed insights into your sales performance.
Configure alerts and notifications to stay informed about important events, such as large transactions or payment failures. Explore critical metrics, such as revenue, successful charges, and customer growth. If you get lost, go to our Help Center or get help from Stripe directly.
If you want an overview of all sales made, you can access your transaction history via the dashboard under your Stripe business account. Here, you can find details for each sale and review your earnings history.
Transaction fees
You will be charged a small fee for each purchase. Stripe has its set of fees that apply depending on your location (learn how much here). Until further notice, WeTransfer will not take a fee on any sales. If you have a Free plan, when we introduce platform fees you will be charged an additional 5% platform fee on sales. However, we will let you know in good time when we plan to introduce platform fees. For all paid plan users, no transaction fees will be applied.
Review your payouts
From the dashboard under your Stripe account, you can review all of your payouts and access all paid and pending payouts. Stripe handles all payment information and funds directly. Payouts are typically distributed between 2 to 7 business days after a successful purchase, though this may depend on the country you're operating in. Payouts are then transferred to the bank account used to set up your Stripe business account.
Refunds and cancelations
You can refund a purchase via the dashboard under your Stripe business account. From your dashboard, you can access your transaction history link, where all payments will be listed and ordered by completion date. Simply find the transaction you’d like to refund and click ‘Refund'.
The refund amount will be removed from your Stripe balance. Stripe debits the remaining amount from your bank account if your available balance doesn’t cover the refund amount. You can choose to refund a transaction as a whole or take action for a partial refund, which will return the funds to the original payment method used by the buyer. Buyers will receive an email confirmation when a refund is actioned via your Stripe business account. For more information about refunds, click here!
Only unprocessed payments can be canceled via your Stripe dashboard.
