In order to create Paid Transfers and accept payments you’ll first need to connect your WeTransfer account to a payment processor. For this release, we have partnered with Stripe which offers an easy and secure service for accepting payments. Stripe's payment page is used by thousands of brands worldwide and is optimized for all devices including mobile (Apple and Google Pay).
How to connect your WeTransfer account to Stripe
You can connect your account via your WeTransfer account settings. Firstly, click on your avatar in the top right corner and click on 'account' in the submenu. Located under the section 'integrations' section, you can find and click the button named ‘connect Stripe’. A new window will open and you'll be prompted to create a Stripe business account or log into an existing account.
You’ll be asked to fill out your payment information for your Stripe business account. If you already have a Stripe account, use your login credentials to automatically populate the creation of a new business account, this new account will be linked to your primary account.
Once the creation of your account is complete your Stripe account will automatically connect to your WeTransfer account. When you’ve successfully connected your account, it should look like this:
Now you’re all set up you can create Paid Transfers with ease from the transfer details panel.
