How to add a pre-filled title and message when requesting a transfer via your Branded Page

Need someone to send you files? Would you like to have a pre-filled title or message for the transfer they’ll send you?

For example, you might want to specify a customer name or order number, or a reference that helps you organise the files you request and receive.

Here’s how

1. Visit your WeTransfer homepage and make sure you’re logged in as Admin of the Workspace.
2. Go to the Workspace>Brand section in your account settings.
3. Next to “Requesting a transfer from someone?”, click Create a custom link.
4. A window will appear where you can enter the desired title and message.
5. Copy the custom link and share it with anyone you’d like to request files from.

What happens next?

When someone uses your custom link, they’ll be taken to your Branded Page, where the title and message will already be filled in.

When they upload and send the files, you’ll receive the transfer with those pre-filled details. This helps you stay organised and quickly identify incoming transfers.
